Immensity 16:11
God damn this home Corrodes away my bones we are not quite whole taking a toll on me God damn this home Built with mirrors and smoke these daggers and cloaks taken below again This place is for those forgotten long ago Convinced their ramblings will impact the state of their soul God damn this home God damn this home God damn this home Once bright now a dull glow As the poison takes it’s hold Witness the fall again God Damn this home Inescapable Cold I could leave and I would grow But I’ll just scratch my name in these walls again The light in our eyes and the forests of old are proof that this place is not what we’ve always been told God damn this home God damn this home God damned this home So long ago For this sacrifice We will not forget We luminesce and will cleanse Memories of home What says this testament? Blood makes the grass grow. Kill! What says your parishioner? Our god commands us. Kill! God damned this home Now we grow in this immensity We look up and see black When once it was divinity Countless lifetimes spent Staring at this reflection What says this testament? Blood makes the grass grow. Kill! What says your parishioner? Our god commands us. Kill! God damn this home Somewhere between immensity and divinity Is created this moment It’s us on the edge of this infinite spiral And 40 thousand generations stare At the reflection off your eyes looking in And so have come All of these Sinful and righteous men The soul-less The blood thirsty tyrants The merciful The blessed and sacred Our oppressors And those who would pay them heed The martyrs Those pious to the end The prophets Those who looked up and saw black These false kings The peasants who bring the guillotine The conquerers The dead who earned their wealth A messiah Those who prayed for a saviour And none have seen the blade And none have seen the blade 40 thousand generations stare 40 thousand generations stare At the reflection off of your eyes looking in 40 thousand generations stare At the reflection off of your eyes looking

Divinity 12:10
Until we suffer loss of light, great divide Until we suffer loss of pride the debt will rise The debt will rise Entire civilizations were built on such reverence Entire civilizations were lost to this indifference Until we honour what is us the debt will rise The debt will rise Entire civilizations were built on such reverence Entire civilizations were lost Entire civilizations were built on such reverence Entire civilizations were lost Karma bloody karma Debts will be paid This consciousness, this reverence, this sentience, this luminance, this reflection This immensity, this divinity, this infinity, this eternity, this reflection Call it by it’s rightful name It’s love. It’s love simply For this life that we gave, is this all that we've gained? All the blood that we crave, and deny to the grave Idle Call it by it’s rightful name It’s love, it’s love and it’s every name For this life that we gave, count the dollars we've made all in the name, all in the name of this… Idle worship Lost inside a time when we would look up and see divinity We would look up and see divinity Divinity Idle Idle Worship Worship Will we be the last? Will we be the last to forget? Will we be the ones? Will we be the ones who pay this …. debt? Gold lines the pockets of your prophets Idle is your worship Karma bloody karma Debts will be paid

Reflection 14:30
We walk the halls of these former gods And no one tells us to repent Bought and sold, scourged and branded No one tells us to repent We are one of the last generations No one tells us to repent How many lifetimes have been spent on the edge with this reflection The collective understanding is that we’ve been here all along Destined, immense, divine Drawn in the stars to remind It is the tension between restless idealism and impending doom That makes killers out of the best of us Destined, immense, divine Drawn in the stars to remind We laid salt on every field Poisoned every well Burned every bridge behind And the dead will tell no lies Revenge from demons past For the Gods that we forsake There will be no widow’s cry Cause the dead will tell no lies All the faces of The first men are Drawn in the stars to remind That the dead will tell no lies Time Please Don’t stop this infinite spiral in time Please let our lives luminesce Please Time We let ourselves learn to reflect Please Time we drink the water from this well please, please, please Time we let our lives luminesce Time we luminesce And not just forget No longer the gods will… Time we luminesce (luminesce) And not just forget No longer the gods will reflect No longer the gods No longer the gods Will claim this reflection No longer the gods No longer the gods Will Reflect

about

“Idle Worship” is a story that starts from a tiny, dark room and ends with a view of the entire cosmos. The listener is put through an emotional ride as we feel the tension between fate and fortune and struggle against blind faith.
